Cacique®’s Una Mano Amiga Campaign*
Cacique®, the country’s leading manufacturer of Mexican-style cheeses and creams, wished to create a campaign that increased sales while reaching out to their core clientele and giving back to the community.

We created a national campaign entitled the “Una Mano Amiga™” campaign. Booths were set up regional grocery stores (Safeway, Mi Pueblo, etc..) on weekends during high traffic periods in order to have direct contact with the community. Both promotional staff and volunteers from nonprofit organizations such as Rainbows, the Mexican Heritage Corporation, The Diabetes Society and Las Isabelas cancer support groups worked the booths. Consumers were able to gather information and take a spin on a Cacique® prize wheel when they made a donation and/or purchased Cacique products. Cacique and the non-profits received extensive publicity through media coverage and culturally sensitive materials including bilingual posters, flyers and postcards. As a result of one campaign over 1200 diabetic screenings were performed and there was a 500% increase in support group enrollment.

Let the Eagle Fly - The Story of Cesar Chavez and the Farm Workers
Let The Eagle Fly - The Story of Cesar Chavez is an inspirational musical which tells the story of Cesar E. Chavez, one of the most influential civil rights leaders of our time and a crusader for non-violent change.

Worked directly with the Chavez family to create a multimedia marketing campaign and make grass roots efforts to sell out the week-long run of this inspiring musical. Community groups and Latino professional organizations were enlisted to help sell tickets and keep a percentage for their organizations as well as an efforts to purchase tickets which were given to farm workers and their children.

Garden Theater Grand Re-Opening & Marquee Lighting
The Garden Theatre originally opened on June 22, 1949 and had gone through many owners and renovations including the gutting of the theater into an open-air mall. When SDS NexGen Partners purchased it and remodeled they wanted to have a free celebration that was open to the public.

We created a party from celebrating its original era with ice-cream bar, bellhops, "cigar girls" giving out nostalgic candies, and enlisted local car clubs to show their vintage cars from that era. A video played showing historic photos from Willow Glen.
